Lufthansa has announced a new connection between Liverpool and Frankfurt, with the four times weekly service commencing in May next year. They are the first German airline to operate in Liverpool, with the flight to Europe’s financial hub taking just 1 hour 40 minutes.
This new connection opens up over 150 worldwide destinations from Liverpool and will provide easy access to four continents.
John Irving, CEO of Liverpool John Lennon Airport commented, “It has been a long-held desire of the Airport and the City Region as a whole to reconnect Liverpool with the world and we are therefore absolutely delighted to be welcoming Lufthansa to Liverpool John Lennon Airport.”
The connection between Liverpool and Frankfurt will be hugely beneficial to the business sector, as well as enabling travellers from across the world to visit the vibrant city of Liverpool and the surrounding region.
